Being licensed builders ourselves for over 25 years, we found it increasingly difficult to take time off work to attend trade seminars and workshops. And often at a time and place that simply wasn't suitable.
Not only that, many courses were only available on specific dates throughout the year.
How Does It Work?
Our online courses are presented in user-friendly PDF format and include a short Quiz with multiple choice answers. Simply choose your package, register and pay, then receive the points as CPD Credits to your online account. These credits can be exchanged for any of our courses and once completed, you'll receive your CPD Points!

What are CPD Points?
CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. By law, it is a requirement of NSW Fair Trading for all licensed builders and pool builders to acquire 12 CPD Points per year in order to maintain a valid building licence. CPD training is a way for builders to demonstrate that they continue to learn and develop skills that enable them to work safely, legally and effectively.
However, the purpose of CPD training is not just about earning compulsory points, but to ensure builders acquire ongoing information and keep up to date with new products and developments within the building and construction industry, many of which may save them precious time and money in the future.
Our online training Courses have been prepared in accordance with the NSW Fair Trading Director General’s Guidelines for Continuing Professional Development and present information relevant to the topics required. Once you receive your downloadable Certificate of Completion from Building CPD, you are able to provide this information directly to NSW Fair Trading as verification of your ongoing CPD training obligations.
CPD Points earned through Building CPD will also fulfill your obligations in VICTORIA (Victorian Building Authority).
