Safe Work Method Statement
A Safe Work Method Statement (or SWMS) must be prepared by an employer, subcontractor or self -employed person before commencing high risk construction work if that work poses a risk to the health or safety of any person including other persons on site or the public.
This course covers the 19 specific activities prescribed by the WHS Regulations as high risk construction work and the obligations of the employer or subcontractor when preparing, implementing and revising a SWMS for the workplace.
A sample copy and blank template of a Safe Work Method Statement are also included which can be easily adapted to a specific high risk construction work activity.
